Pilling Coffee Feast 

Another amazing turn out for Pilling Coffee Feast today. The children were amazing and smiled and waved the whole time. We also had a great time on the field with the football and all the other entertainment. Great community feel. 

Preesall and Knott End Gala 

Thank you to all that braved the weather today and joined us at Knott End Gala. We came 2nd and the children were complimented on their behaviour, waving and smiles. We also had 2 successes in the art competition that we entered. Well done to the two Class 2 pupils that came 2nd in their categories.

A fantastic effort all round.

Christmas Raffle

We had another fantastic Christmas Raffle this year which has helped raise funds for our EYFS and Nursery outdoor provision. Congratulations to the winners.

Village Christmas Lights Switch On

We had a fantastic turn out for the Pilling Christmas Lights Switch on where we sang Christmas Carols with the whole village and did a performance with Children from Saint John's Primary School. Well done evrybody.

Remembrance Sunday

Our children did us proud when they represented the school at the village cenotaph for the Remembrance Sunday Service.

Knott End and Presall Gala 

A fantastic day, the sun shone and the children smiled. The float came 2nd in the Best Decorated Tableaux. The football team were amazing and it went to penalties. 
Well done to all involved. 😀

School Float Preparation

Thank you to all the wonderful parents who gave up their evening to come and prepare the float ready for Saturday. It is certainly taking shape now. 

Queen's Jubilee 

It was lovely to share such a momentous occasion with members of our wider community. The children were invited to dress up as members of the Royal Family and then entertained all the adults. 

Easter Bunny Drive 

It was amazing to see so many people in school for our annual Bunny Drive. We were amazed at how many people attended- we have never had so many people at this event. 

Well done to all our winner of the games, and the people that won the raffle.

Due to Covid restrictions we were not able to have a Christmas Fair. We have still made our fantastic Christmas Hampers for the raffle. These are the first, second and third prizes for the raffle. 

Reindeer Rush 

A fantastic effort from all the children completing the Reindeer Rush. Some of the children have managed to get sponsorship to support St John's Hospice. 

We talked to the children about the work that St John's Hospice do and how they are following in the footsteps of Jesus. 

Christmas Fair - 2nd December

The PTFA supported staff in school in the running of the Christmas Fair. It was a successful event and everybody seemed to enjoy it. 

Thankyou for all your support. 

PTFA Meeting 25th September

Thankyou to all the parents who attended the meeting tonight. It was fantastic to share so many ideas for the next few months. 

Some fundraising dates have been provisionally booked, these include:

• Halloween Disco 
• Christmas Film and Craft night 
• Christmas Fair

Other ideas to raise funds for school include calendars, arts and crafts to sell and a plant sale to name a few. 

If you have any further suggestions, please speak to a committee member or Miss Solloway. 

The next meeting will be primarily discussing the Christmas Fair and making suggestions for stalls. 

2nd July 2019

Some of the parents and grandparents came together to complete some of the work on the float. It's beginning to take shape now and looking good. 

We hope to see lots of people on Saturday 13th July at Knott End and Preesall Gala and Saturday 27th July at Pilling Coffee Feast.
